Every client asks the same question early on: off-plan or ready? The honest answer is that a well-built portfolio usually holds both, in a ratio matched to your goals and time horizon.
Off-plan gives you launch pricing, staged payment plans and the potential for pre-handover appreciation. The trade-off is time, developer risk and no income until completion.
Ready property gives you immediate yield, a tangible asset and negotiating leverage. The trade-off is that you pay today’s price with all the value already in.
For most investors I recommend anchoring the portfolio in ready, income-producing assets and using off-plan selectively for growth — always from tier-one developers with a track record of delivery.
